DOLLAR STORE SERMONS

WHAT IS GOD LOOKING FOR – (Binnoculars)

Father God’s eyes are looking to and fro for hearts that are turned toward Him. He is not looking for sin – punish, He is looking for worshippers.

FORSAKE NOT THE ASSEMBLY – (2 Model/Foam Airplanes)

One plane is assembled the other is not. The plane that is not assembled will not fly – it won’t do what it was created to do. The plane that is assembled flies with no problem. The assembled plane also uses all the parts. This represents a great reason why we go to church. God uses everyone, together.

GOD DOESN’T GIVE KIDS A JUNIOR HOLY SPIRIT – (Box of Junior Mints)

God will pour out His Spirit on His sons and daughters. He give the same Holy Spirit to kids and grown ups.

WATCH YOUR WORDS – (Birthday Card for Grandpa)

This card says some really great things about Grandpa. This reminds us that we should always say kind words about others.

GODS WORD CLEANS US – (Bath & Body Wash)

This reminds us that God’s Word cleans us up. That is why it is important to read the Bible everyday, because His Words give is life.

ONE MORE NIGHT WITH THE FROGS – (Plastic Frogs)

The Children of Israel were slaves in Egypt. When they spoke to Pharoah he said they could go, but they had to stay one more night.

THE GREAT TOOTHPASTE RACE – (Tube of Crest Toothpaste)

It is easy to push the end and get the toothpaste to come out, but can you put it back in? Not really. This is like our words. We watch what comes out of our mouth.

FUNNY MONEY – (Fake Dollar Bills)

God wants us to tithe off of our first fruits. When we give it is an act of obedience. Kids are not to young to learn how to tithe and give of their own money.
