THE KEY to looking beyond what you see
Have you ever had a “problem” that you were facing and it seemed like a giant mountain?
Or, maybe you looked at a situation and thought, “How is this going to work out?”
We all have had situations and life experiences that seem overwhelming to us. It looks like there is no way out.
There is a key we can use, every time, that will turn every situation around.
The way to overcome these situations is by using God’s Word, by speaking God’s Word. When we speak God’s Word out of our mouth, we can look beyond what we are seeing with our eyes.
There is a spiritual law that comes into play. Based on the words we speak, we put into motion a harvest. Our words are like seeds and just like seeds, they will grow and produce a harvest. It’s up to us to decide what harvest we want to reap.
I’m talking about this today, because our faith is released through our words. Our faith grows when we speak God’s Word. Faith talks.
The Bible is the most important book to us as a Christian, but are we teaching how important the Bible is to our kids?
Not everyone believes that the Bible is the Word of God. In fact, some people believe that the Bible is a book of fairy tales.
They will say things like, “The story of Noah and the Ark” or “Jonah and the Big Fish” did not really happen. Those are just fairy tales made up by some men, just like the book, Cinderella.
The Bible is God’s design and plan. He has given it to us so we can be overcomers.
- When does the Bible become powerful?
- When does God’s Word change our circumstances?
The Word of God becomes powerful, when we speak it out of our mouth.
Hebrews 4:12, “For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword.”
When we speak God’s Word it takes the circumstances that face us and changes or destroys them. When spoken, the Bible acts just like a sword. The Bible, spoken in faith from the heart is powerful and can work on our behalf, in any situation.
