Spiritual impartation in the Bible refers to the supernatural transfer of spiritual gifts, blessings, authority, or anointing from one person to another. This divine process occurs through physical contact, prophetic declaration, or divine appointment.
The Apostle Paul said it to Timothy like this, “Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you.”
The other day, I was listening to a message on YouTube by Kenneth Hagin, and he shared a story I hadn’t heard before.
There was a Healing Evangelist, Evert B Parrot. Evert B. Parrot’s wife was a sister to Kathryn Kuhlman, and that’s where Miss Kuhlman learned the way she ministered.
We talk about somebody’s mantle falling on somebody. The way the mantle will come is by association, environment, and influence. It doesn’t just fall on someone.
Go back to the Old Testament. Look at the two prophets Elijah and Elisha. How did Elisha come into a double portion? Elisha stayed with Elijah. He said, “I’ll stay with him,” and that mantle came upon him by association.
So that’s the way that mantle came on Miss Kuhlman. It was, by association, environment, and influence. The first time I saw people fall under the power was in Evert B. Parrot’s meetings. Then I saw the same thing happen in Katheryn Kuhlman’s meeting. How did that happen? That same mantle came upon Miss
Kuhlman because of her association and influence with Evert B. Parrot.
We all know that we become like the people that we hang out with. I find there is an impartation from the Holy Spirit that occurs when I spend time with other Spirit-filled people.
In another place, Paul said to Timothy:
“This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.”
You and I can fan into flames the spiritual gifts that God has given us. In other words, we can decide to stoke the fire – and that is why we are gathering in Minneapolis this fall for the Supernatural Children’s Ministry Summit.
Impartation will take place at SCMS as we all fan into flame the spiritual gifts that God has given each of us. The truth is, there is a greater presence of the Holy Spirit in the room when we are all together.
This is one reason why you must be in the room.
You don’t want to miss this gathering.
